Our team

Arab West Report is a non-profit publication produced by the Center for Intercultural Dialogue and Translation with a small team of paid staff. However, much of our work is carried out by volunteers and a steady flow of qualified interns from around the globe.  We also continue to rely on funding from a number of donor organizations and individuals who share our vision and support our work.

Volunteers
Are you living in Cairo? Maybe a trailing spouse with time on your hands? We have plenty of opportunities where you can put your skills and talents to good use. We can always use help doing administrative work, editing translations, or working with our international partners on projects. We are also interested in hearing from volunteers in other countries who would like to contribute to our work, working through a "virtual office." This can include editing, marketing, database management, or virtually anything using web-based technology.

Staff Positions
Our salaries and benefits are based on the local Egyptian employment market and would be considered quite low by western standards. However, with a multinational and multicultural team, it is a fascinating place to work! Vacancies will be listed here.
If you are interested in knowing more about any of these opportunities, please send us your resume and period of availability. Not sure where you fit, but still want to help? Contact [email protected].
