Mahlab: Youth addiction problem: 250 million EGP to face it

Prime Minister Ibrāhīm Mahlab said the percentage of drug-addicted people in Egypt reached 2.4% while the percentage of dealers reached 10%. He stressed that 250 millions of Egyptian Pounds were allocated to face this crisis that targets young people. He said this during a speech he held on Sunday evening at the Maʿādī Military Hospital, announcing that the government is making efforts to address this problem, including the building of three new hospitals devoted to the treatment of drug-addicted patients.
