A Christian Egyptian and a Frenchman were attacked by militant jihadist groups in Benghazi (Banighāzī), Libya. Initial reports suggest that the Egyptian Fawzī Salāmah died from his injuries after he was shot several times in front of his vegetable store. A medical source at the al-Jalā’ Hospital in Benghazi stated that Frenchman Patrice Real, who worked for a French company upgrading the BenghaziMedicalCenter, was shot by unknown gunmen.
