President ^‘Abd al-Fatāh al-Sīsī assured that the parliamentary elections will not be postponed. He further guaranteed that he will solve the problem of poverty within the next two years and, therefore, asked the people to be patient. His Minister of Agriculture, ^‘Ādil al-Baltājī, announced two new laws concerning the improvement of the health system for peasants and the establishment of an insurance fund. During the deployment of modern rapid reaction forces, al-Sīsī called upon the people to understand the threats to internal stability and security that Egypt faces right now.
