Mosques in Ismailia, Gharbia and Minufia, have all followed the subject in the Friday sermons that had been decided by the Ministry of Endowments. This was about sexual harassment, combating it and the position of Islam on it. The preachers called for a return to Islamic teachings and assured that the responsibility for harassment is a collective one, that starts from good upbringing. They also stated that  educational material must be reinforced by subjects on the morals of Islam (Amīrah Muhammadayn, al- Shurūq, June 14)
