Pope Tawadros received Ibrahīm Mahlab, Prime Minister, and Sidkī Subhī, Minister of Defense, members of  a high ranking governmental delegation, to pay respects and give condolence to Pope Tawadros on the death of his mother.

Ibrahīm Mahlab, Prime Minister, has approved that Mayādah Ashraf and Mary Samih, the victims of violent clashes in ‘Ain Shams, last Friday (March 28),  to be added to the lists of the martyrs of January 25, 2011 revolution (Girgis Fikrī, al- Shurūq, April 1, p. 3).
