A delegation from the Presbyterian Church in America including Father Jean Dafris, Father Marshall Zeman, and Amgad al-Biblāwī, Regional Coordinator for the Middle East for the Christian Church in America, has visited Shaykh Al-Azhar, Ahmad al-Tayyīb, this morning (Thursday) in the Shaykh's headquarters. The meeting was to discuss the June 30 Revolution and to convey the perspective of the Azhar on it and to provide American society with a realistic picture of the events. Amgad al-Biblāwī said in a statement to this newspaper that the delegation has also met Father Bishoy Hilmī, General Secretary of the Council of Churches in Egypt (Michael Fāris, al-Yawm al-Sābi', Sept.12). Read original text in Arabic.
