Human Rights activist and lawyer Ahmad Sayf al-Islām said that the Military Prosecution decided to remand activist and programmer 'Alā' 'Abd al-Fatāh for 15 days in custody pending an investigation.

'Abd al-Fatāh is accused of inciting against the Military in the Maspero incidents among the Coptic protesters and the Army. The Military Prosecution accused 11 activist of the same charges, out of whom includes the deceased Mīnā Danīyāl [Danīyāl was reportedly one of the victims who died during the incidents as the result of a bullet.]
