President Muhammad Husnī Mubārak made a phone call to Pope Shenouda III yesterday, confirming his disapproval of the involvement of Egypt’s name in the recent terrorist acts against a church in Baghdad and of threats made to Copts in Egypt. He said that the government is keen to protect the Egyptian people, both Muslims and Copts.
