The al-Wafd Party candidate for the Jarjā district, Munīr Fakhrī ‘Abd al-Nūr, started his campaign by meeting locals and shopkeepers and taking pictures with them. He told al-Misrī al-Yawm that he returned home yesterday to find many families waiting for him in support. He also says that the National Democratic Party's popularity has decreased significantly.
