In their last meeting, which was headed by Azhar Grand Imām Dr. Ahmad al-Tayyib, the Islamic Research Academy discussed the publication of a number of books that reflect moderate Islam and selling them for the lowest possible prices to counter the currently widespread extremist ideas. They also discussed seeking the help of scholars from abroad by virtue of their specialization in the rapidly changing modern world.
