Flames of sectarianism are spreading across the Arab world, threatening national unity in many of its countries. It seems as if those responsible are unaware that they are playing with fitnah fire. Or maybe they do know. Either way, the current situation is a disaster. It would be difficult to rule out the possibility of foreign influence, as it is no secret that those powers want the region geographically restructured according to religious belief, thereby making it easier to manipulate.
