Coptic Orthodox Pope Shenouda III met with Bishop Aghathun of Maghāghah to discuss the developments of the crisis in the construction of a new headquarters for the Maghāghah bishopric.

On the other hand, Priest Būlis 'Uwaydah of Helwan sent messages to the leaders of the Evangelical church clarifying that his statements on the Evangelical Church was taken out of context and misunderstood.

For its part, the Evangelical Church appreciated 'Uwaydah's clarifications.
