Bahā’īs found a court decision obtained by a Bahā’ī citizen from the Council of State's Supreme Administration Court in 1983 allowing him to have “Bahā’ī” written in his ID.

It is expected that the discovered decision may un uproar on Bahā’īs part and stir a lot of controversies. It is very likely that Bahā’īs file lawsuits calling for replacing the”-“ with “Bahā’ī” in their Ids based upon the old court ruling.
