Egypt got back the manuscript of the Gospel of Judas from America seven months ago, which stirred the anger of Copts because it contradicts with the other known gospels which are acknowledged by Christian churches.

On the other hand, Zāhī Hawwās, head of the Egyptian Council for Antiquities, stated that he has dealt with the manuscript as an Egyptian antiquity, paying no attention to its content, which violates the orthodox Christian doctrine.
