The Grand Imam of the Azhar, Shaykh Muhammad Sayyid Tantāwī, and Pope Shenouda III of Alexandria, as well as the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Secretary General, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, attend the inaugural ceremony of the first Muslim-Christian dialogue conference under the auspices of the Azhar and the Egyptian church. The event will also deliberate on ways to support the Arabs’ causes and the Palestinian and Iraqi people.
