The National Council for Women in Egypt welcomed the appointment of the first Egyptian blind presenter on TV satellite channels.

The National Council for Women, headed by Dr. Māya Mursī, and all its members, thanked the family of the program "al-Safīrah ʿAzīzah", which is broadcast on the channel "DMC", for their initiative to include a blind presenter Raḍwā Maḥmūd to the family of the program presenters.
