Saudi writer calls for an end to the Egyptian “Media Insurgency” towards Qatar

 Saudi writer Mansūb al-Dabʿān called for ending what he called “Media Insurgency” by some Egyptian media towards Qatar. In an article published yesterday by the newspaper “Sharq al-Saʿūdīyya” he criticized Egyptian actor Ahmad Ādam for his attack on Qatar, describing it as “stupid and dull”. The writer also sent a letter to the actor, saying that igniting conflicts between two brother countries is detrimental for both and that Egypt and Qatar should build bridges rather than widening the gap that divides them.
