President of al-Azhar University, Dr. Salāma Dawūd, followed up on the preparation of a humanitarian aid convoy to be sent to Gaza. This was organized by the university’s Community Service Committee, under the leadership of the vice-president of post graduate studies, Maḥmūd Ṣidīq. The convoy consists of food, medical supplies, blankets, and other commodities that may be needed by the Palestinian people.
