On the afternoon of 16 February, Pope Tawāḍrūs II received an American delegation visiting Egypt on a religious dialogue trip affiliated to the American “House of Worship” foundation. It was headed by Isrāʾ Nawār, Director of Development and Programs at Chapman University, who is a pioneer of the conference "Egypt Can, with a tāʾ marbūṭa" [tāʾ marbūṭa is the common ending for feminine nouns and adjectives in Arabic]. This is their second visit to Egypt, following the first in March 2018, which was attended by Mrs. Suhā Jundī, Minister for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs.
