Leading figure in the Jamā’ah Islamiyyah and member on its Shūra “Advisory” Council, ‘Abūd al-Zumur continues his attack on the Muslim Brotherhood in an article titled, ‘Guidelines on Evaluating the Experiment’ published on an online news source yesterday.
Abūd al- Zumur, member of the Shūrá Council of the Jamā’ah al- Islāmiyah requested the  Muslim Brotherhood to revise the mistakes that the group has fallen into, as well as to correct these mistakes.
‘Abbūd al-Zumar, a leader in al-Jamā‘a al-Islāmiyya, has called upon the Muslim Brotherhood to abandon its attempts to reinstate former President Muhammad Mursī and to enter parliamentary elections.

 The article written by ‘abūd al-Zumur, member of the Shūra council of the Jamā’ah Islamiyyah, triggered a crisis. In the article, al-Zumur said deposed president Muhamad Mursī no longer has any jurisdiction, given the fact that he is in prison. 
‘Abūd al- Zumur, leader in the Jamā’ah al- ‘Islāmiyah, stated that carrying weapons against the army and the police is religiously prohibited (harām).
The Jamā’ah al- Islāmiyah is undergoing internal debate between the internal and external leaders.
The Jamā’ah al- Islāmiyah and the Construction and Development Party has denounced the killing of a police office and 5 conscripts in Matrūh, two days ago. 
Sources close to al- Jamā’ah al- Islāmiyah have stated that the team of leaders inside the Jamā’ah has decided to quit the Muslim Brotherhood led National Alliance in Support of Legitimacy.
