Pope Tawāḍrūs II prayed the evening prayers in the Cathedral of St. Mark the Apostle in the city of Venice, which he opened yesterday afternoon in preparation for its inauguration on Sunday morning. The delegation that accompanied him was 11 European bishops who participated in the prayers. Several priests and monks from Egypt, Milan, Central Europe, and London also participated in the evening, as well as a choir of deacons and members of the church.
