The Grand Imām of al-Azhar, Sheikh Aḥmad al-Ṭayyīb, said, “Of the names of God, ‘Justice’ is one of the Most Beautiful, as it is against inequality and injustice; this means that He who owns all, Allāh, Glory be to Him, does not commit injustice. The name of ‘Justice’ does not appear in the Qurʾān in this exact manner, but this does not mean that it is not one of the Most Beautiful names of Allāh, since it is mentioned in the Qurʾān by the presence of its opposite, which is injustice, as well as its mention in the Holy Sunnah.”
