Dear readers,

Please find hereby our newsletters of the past quarter. We had, for the first time, an interview with an Orthodox Jewish Rabbi. With all his good work for street children in Jerusalem his views on the killing of Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh shows how far apart Palestinians and Jewish Israelis are. Several newsletters also demonstrate that we often believe in certain popular truths that, when we investigate, turn out not to be so true. That is not always easy to accept when we are convinced of certain truths. That concerns for example the discussion about Coptic population statistics in Egypt.

This summer Dr. Matthew Anderson hopes to start working with us. He will also contribute to our newsletter.

Sincerely,

Cornelis Hulsman, Editor-in-Chief Dialogue Across Borders
