Al-Watan obtained a text of the internal regulations for the Egyptian Council of Churches, which will be made public on February 18, 2013. The Council of Churches consists of five families, equal in voice. The Board of Directors consists of Coptic Orthodox Pope Tawadros II, Greek Orthodox Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria, Coptic Catholic Patriarch Ibrāhīm Ishāq, Rev. Safwat al-Bayādī of the Coptic Evangelical Church, and The Most Reverend Egyptian bishop Dr. Mouneer Hanna Anis of the Episcopal/Anglican Diocese of Egypt with North Africa and the Horn of Africa (Mustafá Rahūmah, al-Watan, Feb. 8, p. 7).
