Some astray American [religious] denominations are making use of the confused atmosphere created by America in the region. Those denominations are trying to spread their strange ideas and beliefs in Egypt and the Arab world. After Jehovah’s witnesses and the Seven Day Adventists tried to spread in Egypt, the American Mormons are now trying to spread their movement in Egypt. One of the Mormons’ members met Bishop Musa by chance in a library. This person told Bishop Musa that they have come to Egypt to deliver a message, that they do not aim at recruiting individuals from the Orthodox Church, but they have come to practice their religion in Egypt which falls under the freedom of religion. Bishop Musa told them that the Orthodox Church does not accept their ideas.

In his lecture to the youth at the church, Bishop Musa said that this sect did not come to the region to play, but they have come with the precise goal of weakening the Coptic Church by recruiting some of its youth. He cautioned against them, especially since they are one of the richest denominations in America as they spend so extravagantly on their movements outside the U.S.

Rev. Akram Lama’i??, pastor of the Evangelical Church in Shubra [Northern Cairo] said that some Americans in Maadi are working on creating a Mormon group here in Egypt. He said that this sect has gone astray and that it mixes myths with false prophecies. He added that the ideas of this sect are full of political beliefs that serve the Zionist entity on the pretext that Israel is a country that should exist according to Divine Will. That is why the Mormon sect has close links to Israel, and it funds Israel, especially since this sect is the richest sect in the U.S. The Jews themselves had a role in creating this sect as a way of splitting the American Church, as the Jews wanted to control it.

The Mormons believe in a new prophet called Joseph Smith who has a “new Bible” that calls for the return of the Jews to the Promised Land. The group has succeeded in recruiting a large number of its followers to collect donations for the Jews everywhere in the world. The Mormons also forged the history of the U.S. to prove that Red Indians have Jewish origins and so America was built by Jewish founders. Group members believe that the Messiah will come and will have two centers; one in Jerusalem and another in the U.S., which is the second Promised Land.

Israel makes use of this group and collects two million dollars a year from its membersEditor: It is possible but we did not find , of whom there are up to five million. This group has succeeded in spreading its ideas through money and through the media. The Mormons have also succeeded in toppling many presidents, the latest of whom was Jimmy Carter, who they accused of being disloyal to their ideas.

The Mormons’ largest concentration is in Utah, where they constitute 70 percent of the population. The total Mormon population is seven million [it is mentioned above that the number of the Mormons is five millions, this is a mistake in the article +] , and 80 percent of them are in the U.S. and 68 percent of the U.S. Mormons are in Utah. The Mormons prevent blacks from being members of the church, because their prophet Joseph Smith told them that that race [the black race] is cursed. What is interesting is that the Mormon Bible has been modified 3913 times from 1830 until now. Their teachings say that any member who abandons the group should be killed along with anyone who tries to attack the Jews or Israel [that’s unlikely].

The Egyptian Church has cautioned against the ideas and the beliefs of this denomination and confirmed that the Mormon Church does not adhere to the true teachings of Christian religion. The Egyptian Church also called on all Christians not to follow the ideas of this church, which is based on fabrication and deceit, and based on ideas that serve Israeli interests. Jews are trying to link the belief in the return of Jesus to the establishment of the state of Israel. These deviated denominations support the Zionist project; they [deviated denominations] comes out of the States and tries to draw the attention of its members to Israel. So the link between Israel and America is strong and that explains a large part of the American policy toward Israel.
